Gift Card Policy - Selling

Gift Card Policy — Selling on AphaCards

AphaCards lets sellers convert unused gift cards into fast, secure payouts. This policy explains how to submit, verify and receive payment for cards, plus our protections, eligibility requirements, and timelines for payouts.

Accepted Payment Methods

Payouts via PayPal (~2 hours) or ACH (1–3 business days) after verification and offer acceptance.

Security & Verification

All submissions pass identity checks and automated fraud screening to protect buyers and sellers.

Condition

We only accept brand-new, unused gift cards (digital or physical) from verified sellers.

1. Eligibility & Account Requirements

Only registered AphaCards users in good standing may submit cards for sale. For security we require:

  • Verified email and a confirmed user account.
  • Identity verification for higher-value submissions (we will request ID when required).
  • Valid payout details (PayPal email or bank account for ACH) stored in your account.

2. Submitting a Gift Card

To submit a card:

  1. Choose brand & denomination: select the brand and enter the card amount using the secure sell form.
  2. Upload details: provide the card number, PIN (if applicable), and any required photos (front/back) for physical cards.
  3. Agree to terms: confirm ownership and that the card is unused and valid.
  4. Submit: your submission is routed for automated checks and manual review as needed.

3. Verification & Offer Process

After submission we run a series of checks:

  • Automated checks: code validity, activation status, and fraud indicators.
  • Manual review: for high-value or flagged submissions, a human reviewer may validate authenticity.
  • Offer issued: when verification passes we present an offer. You must accept the offer to proceed.

Offers are time-limited — if not accepted within the stated window, the card may be re-evaluated or re-listed.

4. Payouts & Timing

Once you accept an offer and the card passes final validation:

  • PayPal: approximate payout time is ~2 hours from final approval (may be faster in many cases).
  • ACH (Bank Transfer): typical arrival is 1–3 business days depending on banking networks and holidays.

Payouts are sent to the payout method on file. Ensure your PayPal email or bank routing/account details are accurate to avoid delays.

5. Rejection, Holds & Disputes

Submissions may be placed on hold or rejected for reasons including:

  • Card already redeemed or invalid code.
  • Insufficient proof of ownership or suspected fraudulent origin.
  • Mismatch between submitted details and verification results.

If rejected, we will explain the reason and next steps. For disputed findings, sellers may appeal by providing additional evidence. Our team aims to resolve disputes within 3–5 business days.

6. Pricing & Minimums

Our buy offers reflect current market value and brand-specific acceptance thresholds:

  • Each brand may have a minimum accepted denomination and different price tiers. These are shown in the sell form.
  • Offers are calculated using transparent formulas (brand rate × card value), and any fees will be clearly displayed before acceptance.

7. Security, Privacy & Fraud Prevention

Protecting sellers and buyers is our top priority. We use automated fraud detection, identity verification, and secure handling of card codes. Submitted card codes and sensitive files are stored only as long as necessary to complete verification and payout, then handled per our privacy policy.

8. Seller Responsibilities & Representations

By submitting a card you warrant that you are the lawful owner, the card is unused, and you have the right to sell it. Misrepresentations may result in account action and denial of payouts.

9. Support & Questions

If you have questions about selling, verification holds, or payout timing, contact our seller support team. Include your submission ID, brand, and screenshot(s) where relevant for the fastest response.
